Request, Correct or Cancel NMR Time

 • Instrument schedules will be determined on a monthly basis.

 • Time requests must be submitted to MNMR by the 15th of the preceding month.

 • MNMR staff will evaluate all requests and a detailed schedule will be posted by the 20th of the preceeding month.

 • Research groups that do not receive requested time in a given month will have priority in the following month.

 • No research group may exceed 2 weeks NMR time on a single instrument in a month unless there are no competing requests.

 • Cancelled time will be offered first to the next scheduled user.

 • Any available/unrequested instrument time will be open to "first come, first served" requests.

How to use it:
1. Select Spectrometer ID, change Start and End Time, click NMR Fee, you may get the fee.
2. Start and End Time must be in the format of m/d/yyyy h:m or m/d h. The h may be 0 to 23.
3. If the output list is too long and some rows are hidden, you may click the bar "2. To estimate NMR fee..." twice to see all info.

This form below is used to request, correct or cancel NMR time for the NMR spectrometers at the Minnesota NMR Center. In the form of "Request Type" below, you may click a button beside "New", "Correction", or "Cancellation" to request new NMR time, correct your old request, or cancel your NMR time, respectively. To correct NMR time, you need to enter your previous request ID, and enter new time period. To cancel NMR time, you need to enter your previous request ID, and the corresponding reservation will be completely removed. Please note that there may be a penalty when you correct or cancel NMR time. For details, please visit policy page . Please allow a few hours to reflect your request on NMR schedule web page. If you do not see your request in a long time, please contact NMR staff. .


Before submission, please make sure that all fields are filled in correctly.
NMR time requests are not guaranteed and are subject to change.
The Schedule is updated by the staff M-F generally in the morning between 9am-12pm.
If it has been more than 24hrs since your request was submitted and is a weekday, please contact center staff.
